The House is approximately 250 square meters. Part of the front is embellished with some thatching, covering and roofing the kitchen area. The house is a two bedroom, single story building with a well-maintained flat roof. Tiles of slate cover the flooring, with the exception of the sitting room and bedrooms, which are terracotta tiled. The large kitchen with its breakfast nook, pantry and laundry has granite tops throughout and boasts rose wood cupboards, a ceramic hob and a double eye-level oven. Both bedrooms are en-suite. The master bedroom suite is very spacious and offers a walk in shower, and a dressing area. Both a spacious lounge and dining room provides for family entertainment which is complemented by a large enclosed veranda that leads from the lounge and offers a built-in bar. It doubles as a sun-room in winter. All outside doors and windows are well secured. There is an alarm system that covers every room, window and outside doors. The Kitchen/dining area, the sitting room and the master bedroom are fitted with air conditioning. The house has telephone facilities (Internet) and satellite T.V. receiver A few meters away from the main house is a Rondavel, a solid stone, thatched building of over 80 square meters. It contains two bedrooms, one at each side and a spacious bathroom. The entrance leads to a front veranda and then to a central room from where all rooms can be accessed. This building is most pleasant, having a relaxed atmosphere, while the combination of the thatched roof and stone walls provide warmth during the winter, while keeping the ambience cool during summer. The door and all windows of the Rondavel are also well secured. Also on the property is a stone walled "boma" with ample sitting space for several people to enjoy an evening braai or relax by a log fire. A spacious lapa that is equipped with electricity provides for excellent recreation. The foundations are so laid that it can be enclosed (walled) as a separate building, to provide additional residential facilities if desired. Nearby the "Lapa" there is a thatched, wooden pergola of hexagon shape, with built in braai facilities. Separate, but near the building used as an Office there is a large brick building of 120 square meters, which is used at the moment as a garage and for storage purposes. It was built as a possible double storey building, with a corresponding high roof. Again, this is a building that can be converted into a residential building if desired. Within the yard too there is a small, purpose built structure with 15 chicken nests, and sufficient outside space, all enclosed with a high fence, so the production of free range, organic chicken eggs can take place. Further up, there are eleven kennels, all well built for the purpose of breeding dogs. There is good outside space for exercising dogs, all of which are enclosed with a high, strong fence. There is a building, of L shape, that at the moment houses a herd of goats. The main room is 160 square meters. The attached smaller room (which forms the "L") is 30 square meters. Just opposite this one is another, previously used for rearing ostrich chicks, with a roofing area of 112 square meters, containing six rooms of 7.5 square meters each. Each room has its own separate "outside" runner of five meters each. This building is enclosed by strong 1.8 meter high fence. There are also two 12 meters long containers placed opposite each other with a roof cover over the space between them, so creating a large open store room that is ideal for storing animal feed, baled grass, etc. There is also a six meter container which at the moment is used to store tools, etc. The property has a strong borehole which delivers approximately 7,000 liters per hour that pumps to ten five thousand liter storage tanks, with water for home consumption being filtered. Electricity (three phase) is supplied directly by ESKOM. The property houses some blesbuck, a few ostriches, and abundant bird life whilst small game roam wild on the property.
