I have a large, 3 bed, 2 bath semi-detached townhouse for rent. It has loads of parking, and many, many extras. It has a small and private garden. This is in an older complex with a floor plan bigger than many freestanding houses available today! The unit has a great location in central Hillcrest. 1 minute access to Old Main Road, with quick and convenient proximity to all the local schools and shops. The complex is very quiet, and located at the end of a cul-de-sac. There are effectively only 3 units with their own entrance. No passing traffic! Access is via an electric gate. The unit has exclusive use of a closing garage, an open carport, and 2 further parking bays. A small, sunny garden is fully walled, giving you privacy but also completely manageable. There is an outside toilet for a gardener, and a private courtyard for hanging washing. Views from the front of the complex are over green, leafy trees. On a clear day you can see the ocean! Inside, the unit is double story in height, but split over four half levels. It is spacious and airy, you won't believe that it is actually a townhouse! On the lowest level there is a large, open plan lounge and dining room, which open to the kitchen with built in oven and glass plate HOB. This level also opens to an outside, tiled private patio area leading to the grassed garden, and also has double doors opening to a small balcony. Half a level up is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. This level also contains a large study/family room/second lounge, and a guest toilet. A further half level up one finds a carpeted TV lounge/kids play area, and at the top level are the final 2 carpeted bedrooms, which share a bathroom. There is plenty of storage space, and all bedrooms have BICs. The front door has a full height trellidor, and the sliding door to the patio also has a full height trellidor. The garden is fully walled. The complex has CCTV installed in the parking and common areas. The unit is clean, and very homely. All my tenants have been very happy there. It has the benefit of being built in the 80s, so rooms are still of a reasonable size! The unique layout makes it stand out as something different, not your cardboard cutout that you find everywhere these days. It would suit a young couple or a family with teenage kids, happy with the stairs connecting the different levels. It would not suit a family with toddlers, people with mobility problems or who are uncomfortable with stairs. Regret, no smokers, and cats are not allowed in the complex. The small garden is suitable for a small dog, however large dogs that need lots of exercise will probably need more space. I would prefer a stable, long term tenant. I will (at my cost) ask for a credit history check of prospective applicants. Please don't apply if you don't intend paying your rent or if you don't want to look after the property as if it is your own!
